The Only Thing Standing Between You and Your Dream College

FAFSA & Applications:

The Only Thing Standing Between You and Your Dream College

So, you’re thinking about the September 2025 intake? Great! But before you start picturing yourself in your dream college hoodie, there’s just one little thing actually, a few little things that stand between you and that campus life. Don’t worry, we’re about to break it down in the most non-boring way possible. Let’s go!

Step 1: Is the September 2025 Intake Even Open?

Yes! The intake is open, but exact deadlines are still TBA. Pro tip: Don’t wait for an official countdown, start prepping your application now, so you’re not panic-submitting at 11:59 PM. (We see you, procrastinators)

Step 2: Can You Afford It? Let’s Talk Money

Tuition fees can look scary, but here’s the breakdown:

  • Deposit for CAS: £5,000
  • First Instalment (after enrolment): £6,250 (paid in 4 monthly installments)
  • Second Instalment (start of semester 2): £6,250 (minus scholarships)

Students from Afghanistan & Iran, heads up! You’ll need to pay the full first-year fees upfront.

And now, the best part… SCHOLARSHIPS!

  • Foundation Program: £2,500 total (spread over four years)
  • Undergrad Programs: £6,000 total (£2,000 per year)
  • Postgrad: Scholarships range from £1,000 to £3,000, depending on your academic achievements.

Moral of the story? Good grades = free money.

Step 3: Do You Meet the English Language Requirements?

If you’re thinking, “Pfft, of course I do,” hold up. Here’s what you need:

  • 60% or higher in HSSC English (120/200 marks)
  • A degree completed in the last 3 years
  • An official Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter (only main campus qualifications count!)

Need to check if your university qualifies? Here’s a handy list of accepted institutions. (Spoiler: If you went to NUST, LUMS, or IBA Karachi, you’re probably good.)

Step 4: How to Actually Apply (Without Losing Your Sanity)

Applying to university shouldn’t feel like filing taxes. Here’s what you need:

  • Updated CV (no, your high school “chess club captain” isn’t enough)
  • Valid passport (at least 6 months beyond your course start date)
  • Statement of Purpose (AKA your ‘why this uni’ essay yes, it has to be your words)
  • All academic documents (time to dig up those transcripts)
  • IELTS or equivalent test score (taken within the last 2 years)

Need more details? Check the specific course page because, well, different courses = different rules.

Step 5: Can You Work While Studying?

Short answer: YES. Long answer: Up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during holidays. Just make sure you check your visa conditions before you start that side hustle.

Step 6: Where Will You Live? (A.K.A. Where’s the Party?)

Good news! Off-campus accommodation is available at Orlando Village. But warning: Spaces fill up FAST. So, if you don’t want to end up in a last-minute housing scramble, apply ASAP.

Check out accommodation options here.

Step 7: Ready to Apply? Let’s Do This!
